The dust has settled on IPL auction 2026. Players have been bought, squads have been formed, and a few have become millionaires. But that said, it is only unfortunate that a few deserving players went unsold. The list is quite big, as there was room for only 77 players, while as many as 369 players had been shortlisted for the event.

There are a few other notable mentions as well, but could not make this playing XI list. Yash Dhull is one such uncapped batter from India, Sediquallah Atal is a wicket-keeper batter from Afghanistan, along with Rahmanullah Gurbaz, spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman, South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder and Dasun Shanaka as well.
