Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium

Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, formerly known as Visaka International Cricket Stadium, was established in 2004 in Uppal. Spread over 16 acres of land, the stadium named after former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi holds the reputation of being a high-scoring venue. The stadium has a seating capacity of 55,000 spectators and has stands named after two former Indian cricketers, i.e., Mohammad Azharuddin and VVS Laxman. The stadium was the home ground for IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad and now defunct Deccan Chargers.
