Women’s World Cup winners list: Australia has extended their dominance in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup events, by winning the trophy for the record sixth time. Australia defeated South Africa by 19 runs in the final in Cape Town this year. England won the inaugural edition of the T20I championships at London after beating New Zealand by six wickets. In 2010, Australia emerged as champions by beating the Kiwis by a margin of three runs. Apart from the West Indies lifting the title in 2016, it is Australia that has dominated the T20 World Championships and has won it on five occasions. In 2020, Australia beat India in Melbourne.
