History
Lucknow Super Giants made its debut in 2022 under the leadership of KL Rahul. The franchise made it to the playoffs in their opening season, but faltered against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the eliminator. LSG lost to RCB by 14 runs but had a good run in the tournament. They finished at the third spot in the points table with 9 wins and 5 losses.
