France’s captain Victor Charlet is leading France by example. He is the highest scorer for the team in the recently concluded FIH Nations Cup Hockey. He scored 5 goals in five matches in the tournament. He will aim to continue his form in the upcoming World Cup. He has been playing for the National team since 2014. In 116 matches, he has netted 55 goals. He led the team in the last edition of the World Cup too.
Timothee Clement
22-year old Timothee Clement will be featuring in the second World Cup in his career. However just a year ago he was leading France in the Junior World Cup in Bhubhaneswar. He was the second top scorer in the tournament in which France won the Bronze medal. He will now look to continue the same form in the Senior World Cup.
Pieter van Straaten
Pieter van Straaten is one of the senior members in the French National team. The forward is someone who can be relied upon to score goals at crucial junctures. He made his debut for France in 2012 and will be playing his 100th game for the national side when he takes the field during France’s opening match in the World Cup 2023. In 99 games, he has scored 18 goals.
