FIFA WC TUNISIA TEAM: The northernmost country in Africa has made quite a name for itself after a fantastic outing in the qualifying stages of the World Cup and they will be aiming to cause a major upset. Although being in a group that has teams like France, Denmark, and Australia, it seems like a hill too uphill to climb, Tunisia will be hoping for some magic moments and a little bit of luck to help them on their way to the Round of 16.
FIFA WC TUNISIA SQUAD: Out of their group-stage games in the qualifying round, they only lost once and drew once, winning the remaining 4 games. They also were in good touch against Mali in the qualifying knock-out game as they won and sealed their place for the big event.
Their strength has also been in being defensive and absorbing pressure and then counter-attacking well. They do have the players to play to this style and they will be banking on this strategy working out for them in Qatar. With them being in a group such as Group D, which is quite hard, they will look to be defensive, but they need to remember to also attack and make sure to take their chances.
TUNISIA TEAM NEWS: The Tunisian team is not star-studded like their counterparts, Les Bluez, but this team has the quality to play according to how the coach wants them to. Led by skipper Youssef Msakni, who has a knack for scoring, they are in capable hands going forward but will need to ensure that they have the quality to feed him into, so he can bury those chances.
Ferjani Sassi will be their experienced head in midfield as the Al-Duhail main will make sure things are in order in the middle of the pitch, which, one would say, is the most important part of the pitch for any team.
TUNISIA Team INJURY LIST: No injuries of any scale for the Tunisians to worry about as such.
FIFA WC TUNISIA GROUP NEWS: Tunisia is placed in Group D with the likes of France, Australia, and Denmark. It is quite a tricky group for Tunisia and they will have to cause a major upset if they are to get out of the group alive.
FIFA WC TUNISIA Matches & Schedule: Tunisia will challenge the Danes in their first game of the World Cup in 2022 on the 22nd of November. Then, Australia will be their next opponents on the 26th, while France round up their group stage games on the 30th of November.
