Brian Masaba will lead Uganda in their debut appearance at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, as their 15-player squad has been finalized. Following impressive victories over Zimbabwe and other African teams during qualification, the Cricket Cranes are preparing for Group C matches against co-hosts West Indies, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Afghanistan.
Riazat Ali Shah will serve as vice captain, and Masaba himself is among several Ugandan players boasting over a decade of experience in international cricket. Notably, 43-year-old Frank Nsubuga will be one of the tournament’s oldest participants.
