IPL 2025 has seen the rise of many breakout stars who are uncapped Indian players. These young Indian talents have fared exceptionally well so far, with some of them already having played in the India U19 side. From the likes of Vaibhav Suryavanshi to Ayush Mhatre to Vignesh Puthur, IPL 2025 has seen a lot of Indian talents being unearthed.

India are all set to take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in August, although there is no certainty about the series due to political tensions between the two countries. These uncapped players could very well form a separate Indian team and offer a stiff competition to Bangladesh.

Powerpacked batting line-up

At the top of the order are Mhatre and Suryavanshi. While the 14-year-old has already turned heads with the second fastest hundred in IPL history, Mhatre came agonizingly close to becoming the second youngest player to slam a century.

Vaibhav’s opening partner will be PBKS opener Priyansh Arya. He has shown stellar consistency so far in the league, with one century and half-century each to his name so far.

The captain of this India uncapped XI will be LSG’s Ayush Badoni. The Delhi batter already has captiancy experience, having led Delhi in the domestic circuit. He has by far been the most consistent Indian batter in LSG in IPL 2025, with 252 runs from 10 innings.

Next are PBKS batters Prabhsimran and Wadhera. Playing as the opener, the keeper-batter has 346 runs to his name and has been in perfect sync with his teammate Arya. Wadhera, on the other hand, has aced his role as finisher and has 194 runs from 9 innings.

Bowlers to watch out for

20-year-old Vipraj Nigam has turned out to be a gem of a find of DC in terms of his all-round ability. He has 9 wickets from 10 matches in addition to amassing 104 runs to his name.

Similarly, LSG’s Digvesh Rathi has turned out to be a consistent wicket-taker for his side, with 10 wickets to his name and an economy rate of 7.75. MI’s Vignesh Puthur had a dream start to the season bagging 3 wickets against CSK. However, his season was cut short due to injury to his shins.

Another golden find by MI is Ashwani Kumar. The pacer became the first Indian to take a 4-wicket-haul on IPL debut. In three matches, he has bagged 6 wickets. Another alternate to Ashwani could be LSG’s Prince Yadav. Despite having just 2 wickets to his name from 5 matches, the pacer has impressed with his ability to nail yorkers and bowl some fiery deliveries.

Other uncapped Indians who can be a part of the squad include Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Ashutosh Sharma, Prince Yadav and Aniket Verma.
