About MCA Stadium

Located in Gahunje on the outskirts of Pune, the MCA Stadium is considered one of India’s modern cricketing venues, equipped with specific and important facilities. Initially known as the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, it was inaugurated in 2012 by former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar. Although construction began in 2010, delays meant the venue was only completed in 2012, which is why it missed the opportunity to host matches during the 2011 ICC World Cup.
