VDCA Cricket Stadium, also known as Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Visakhapatnam. The stadium, which opened in 2003, has a seating capacity of approximately 25,000 people. The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh owns the ground, which hosts matches for the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams. The ground also hosts domestic cricket matches for the Andhra cricket team. So far, the stadium has hosted two tests, ten ODIs, and three T20Is. The stadium has hosted IPL matches, including the Deccan Chargers in 2012 and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016. During the 2019 IPL, the ground hosted the tournament’s eliminator and qualifier 2.
