Shreyas Iyer has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March for his outstanding performance in the Champions Trophy 2025, where India emerged as the champions.

Iyer played a key role in the Champions Trophy 2025. He was the tournament’s top scorer for India, amassing 172 runs in three ODIs in march at an average of 57.33 and a strike rate of 77.47.
He contributed a tough 45 against Australia in the semi-final, a cool 48 in the summit match against the Black Caps, and his highest score of 79 against New Zealand in their Group A match to lead India to victory.
Other Nominees for Player of the Month
The other two nominees, both from the New Zealand team, are Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra.
Rachin Ravindra played three ODIs in March, scoring 151 runs at an impressive average of 50.33 and a striking strike rate of 106.33. He also made an impact with the ball, taking three wickets at a commendable economy rate of 4.66.
Jacob Duffy had an outstanding March during the five-match T20I series against Pakistan at home.
With 13 wickets at an average of 8.38 and an economy rate of 6.17, Duffy was the highest wicket-taker in the Black Caps’ 4-1 series win over Pakistan.
