Shreyas Iyer the New Captain Would Go for All Big Names
PBKS has some of the biggest names in T20 cricket and they would once again be certainties in the PBKS playing XI. That includes the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Marcus Stoinis, and Glenn Maxwell. The team would revolve around those players only, who could once again emerge as star players for them.
Having said that, PBKS could also be hurt big due to the four foreign-player rule. They have some excellent overseas players and missing out on any would be tough.
Best All-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai Over Marco Jansen
Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai is just the best fast-bowling all-rounder in the world right now. He was impressive in the Champions Trophy, where scored 41 and 67, and even returned with 7 wickets in three matches. However, another good all-rounder, Marco Jansen might miss the bus here. He has done well at the IPL circuit, but then Iyer and the management would want to go with an in-form player.
Yuzvendra Chahal Spin Spearhead, Arshdeep Singh to Lead Pacers
PBKS is blessed to have two massive wicket-takers. While Chahal has the most wickets in IPL at 205, Arshdeep is India’s highest wicket-taker. They would lead a bowling attack that would comprise of Lockie Ferguson, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Harpreet Brar, and all-rounder Suryansh Shedge. On paper, their bowling attack seems to be the best.
