IPL 2025, MI vs KKR: Hardik Pandya announced three changes in the playing XI for the match against KKR on Monday.

Hardik Pandya went in with three changes for Monday’s game vs KKR at the Wankhede Stadium. English batter Will Jacks was brought in, in place of Robin Minz, who has been a failure till now. Next, the team went in with unknown pacer Ashwani Kumar, who has picked up two wickets in four matches.

Hardik Pandya Makes Three Changes in MI Playing XI

After winning the toss, Hardik opted to bowl first, on a surface that had something for the bowlers. “We gonna bowl first, looks like a good track. Knowing Wankhede, dew may or may not come. There might be some early swing, it plays well so we thought chasing is a good option. We want to get into good rhythm and kickstart. Overall, we want to play better cricket, we need to stay calm. Will comes back and we have a debutant,” Hardik Pandya announced at the toss.

Mumbai Indians has been struggling with their batting so far, where their top-order has misfired so far, including the two openers, and Rohit Sharma. Even their fast-bowling in Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar haven’t been at their best. Satyanarayan Raju, the pacer who was tried for the first two matches, was axed for the third match vs KKR.

Vignesh Puthur in, No Chance for Arjun Tendulkar

What is even more surprising is, Arjun Tendulkar was once again overlooked, while a player with similar skill, and lesser experience in Ashwani was preferred. Such was the situation, that he was not given a chance in the impact subs as well.

Mumbai Indians (Playing XI): Ryan Rickelton, Will Jacks(w), Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya(c), Naman Dhir, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult, Ashwani Kumar, Vignesh Puthur.

Impact Subs: Rohit Sharma, Corbin Bosch, Raj Bawa, Robin Minz, Satyanarayana Raju.
