Lucknow Super Giants will be hoping to continue on their winning momentum as they lock horns with a formidable DC. Rishabh Pant and co. narrowly avoided defeat in their previous game against RR, thanks to a brilliant last over by Avesh Khan. LSG will not be making many changes to their playing XI for the tie against DC but will hope Mayank Yadav can finally make his much-awaited comeback.

Mayank to return?
It remains to be seen if Mayank Yadav will finally return to action in the tie against DC. The injury-prone pacer was seen bowling in full tilt during practice on the eve of the LSG vs DC tie. Yadav, who had received clearance from the CoE on April 14, wasn’t a part of the playing XI in the game against RR. He was listed as a substitute but wasn’t used in the game.
LSG will be hoping to unleash the fiery pacer against DC. Their team combination will largely remain the same as it was in the previous game. The opening combo of Marsh and Markram will be heavily relied on during the powerplay to do maximum damage before Pant, Badoni and Samad can take over. Pooran will be looking to storm back into form after misfiring on the last couple of occasions.
Apart from Mayank, LSG will once again count on Avesh Khan to spearhead the pace department in the death overs. Pant is likely to stick with the spin duo of Rathi and Bishnoi in the playing XI.
