The formalities have been completed and India have won by 15 runs. That takes the hosts to 5-0 whitewash of the neighbours. Excellent all-round team effort.

Kaushini is run out as she is sent from mid-crease. India is winning this one, and SL have shown the lack of depth in batting. On the very next delivery, Harshitha is aught out. Falling like nine pins.

Charani's effort finally get some result. She had been trying for that yorker for a while, and was hit for a six and a four by Hasini. Finally, the batter is castled.

It has been an exceptionally good 50 from Hasini Perera, which comes in only 37 deliveries. But the bigger question is, can she take SL home?

Excellent bowling by Vaishnavi Sharma. She bowls one slow and Kaveesha totally misjudges it. She is out for 5.

Deepti bowls with a scrambled seam, and she has a wicket. Nilakshika is out for 3, and Deepti is the highest wicket-taker in the world in T20Is.

Things that pressure does. SL were batting so well. Amanjot Kaur comes, Imesha drives, and is caught out. She is out for 50.

There you go; a well-compiled, first T20I fifty for Imesha. This innings could well take Sri Lanka to the target. But they have never chased down anything in excess of 170.

Excellent composure by the Lankan pair as they are giving no chance to the Indian bowlers. The target is coming down slowly.

The Sri Lankan batters have steadied the ship. Imesh and Hasini have batted well together and India need a wicket.

And the powerplay ends. Sri Lanka would be the happier side for now. Despite the loss of Athapaththu, SL have reached 48/1

The Sri Lankan skipper having an excellent day. Now, Deepti attempts to sweep, and gets a top edge. She is caught out at square leg. Poor batting continues.

Richa Ghosh has departed for 5 now. Chamari Athapathu bowls one wide and the batter is caught behind. Poor by India till now.

Today is a great chance for skipper Harman to instill some fear in the opposition bowlers. More often than not, she doesn't get enough deliveries to bat. Three fours in the over for her.

Rashmika has picked up a wicket and Harleen has thrown away the opportunity, is dismissed for 13. She tries to play a cross-batted shot and is castled.
