The action returns to the Lord’s Cricket Stadium once again, but this time around it’s INDW taking on the ENGW in the second ODI of the series. After a stunning performance by the Indian batters in the 1st outing, it is time to go for the kill and register a win in the series, just like Harmanpreet Kaur‘s team did in the T20I series.
Bowling-wise, there would be a lot of focus on the Indian spin attack — while their frontline pacers are missing. Kranti Goud and Sneh Rana bowled well upfront, and they will again have wicket-taking duties. Deepti Sharma, as usual will be their most important player, who bats as well as bowls.
Having said that, fielding continues to remain India’s Achilles Heel. They dropped a couple of catches in the last match, and leaked a few extra runs too, so that department needs improvement for sure. On the other hand, England will play to survive in the three-match series.
