The untimely death of Melissa Hoskins has shocked the sporting fraternity in Australia. And now her husband, and former World Champion Rohan Dennis have been charged over the death of Hoskins, by allegedly hitting her with car, as per various reports.
Hoskins, a two-time Olympian, died in the hospital on Saturday, after sustaining serious injuries. The South Australia police said that a 33-year-old man, reported as Dennis, has been charged with “causing death by dangerous driving” and “driving without due care and endangering life”.
“The driver is known to the woman,” police said.
“We send our thoughts to those who love her, starting with her children, and were lucky enough to ride with her during an all too short life,” CPA Women said on social media.
