VALORANT Champions Tour also known as VCT Masters Madrid day 5 is over. Loud and Paper Rex qualified for the Playoffs of the global event.

Day 5 of the VCT Masters Madrid Swiss Stage was a nail-biter, with only two teams advancing to the Playoffs. LOUD and Paper Rex dominated their matches, securing their spots in the next round.

VCT Masters Madrid Day 5: LOUD Crushes Edward Gaming

LOUD sent a clear message with a decisive 2-0 victory over Edward Gaming. EDG struggled to counter LOUD’s aggressive plays, falling on both Icebox (13-2) and Ascent (13-3). This dominant performance marked the fastest series win of the tournament so far.

Paper Rex Battles Through Against Karmine Corp

The second match was a close fight between Paper Rex (PRX) and Karmine Corp (KC). PRX edged out a narrow win (13-10) on Bind in the first map. However, KC bounced back with a strong showing on Lotus (13-6), led by N4RRATE’s stellar performance.

The deciding map, Ascent, was a back-and-forth battle. Both teams showcased incredible plays, with KC holding a slight lead at halftime. PRX mounted a comeback and reached match point first, but KC forced overtime with clutch plays by marteen. Ultimately, PRX emerged victorious, winning back-to-back rounds to claim the series win.

With the Swiss Stage concluded, the Playoff picture is clear. LOUD, Sentinels, Gen.G, and Paper Rex will battle it out for the championship title. The Upper Bracket Semifinals will see Gen.G face Paper Rex and LOUD take on Sentinels. Both matches are scheduled for March 21st.
