The countdown to the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2026 has begun. PUBG Mobile Esports reveals the official Group Stage draw. The draw determine the opening matchups for the world’s best PUBG Mobile teams as they prepare to compete in Paris, France, as part of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026.

With 32 elite teams battling for a share of the $3 million prize pool, the group draw will play an important role in shaping the road to the championship.

PMWC 2026 Groups and Teams

In the draw, all 32 qualified teams divided into two groups, thus determining whom they will be playing against in the first phase of the tournament.

PMWC 2026 Group Stage Format

  • Group stage will be played from August 6 till August 9, 2026.
  • The tournament will start with 32 participating teams that will equally form Group A and Group B, each having 16 teams.
  • Each group will play 12 matches and thus each team will get an opportunity to score some vital points in order to strengthen their position before moving ahead in the tournament.

How Teams Can Qualify for the Grand Finals

  • The Group Stage is going to be very decisive, with only the best performing teams proceeding further.
  • The first five teams in each group will qualify directly to the Grand Finals.
  • Those placed from sixth to thirteenth place will progress to the Survival Stage on August 11-12, and get another opportunity to proceed to the Grand Finals.
  • The last three teams in each group will be eliminated from the competition.

Every game is going to be important because winning the first round will let the teams pass directly to the Grand Finals, and failure may result in elimination right away.
