Krafton banned 32 teams of BGIS 2023 Round 1, Round 2 starts today

Krafton banned the 32 teams from the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 for violating fair play in Round 1.

Round 1 of the BGIS 2023 has concluded, where 2048 teams participated and 480 qualified for Round 2, while Krafton has revealed the 32 banned teams from Round 1 for violating fair play. Additionally, Karfton also disqualified 100+ teams from BGIS 2023 Round 1 for violating sections 6.2.4 and 4.1 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 rulebook, stating that violations of rules are not tolerated. BGIS 2023 Round 2 is starting today, 480 teams from Round 1 + the bottom 32 teams from The Grind Week 5 (512 teams) will compete in Round 2, which starts on August 7 and runs until August 10. 512 teams will be divided into 32 groups of 16 teams each. The top 7 teams from each group (totaling 224 teams) advance to Round 3.

KRAFTON India, makers of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI), have partnered with JioCinema, India’s biggest OTT platform, to live stream the largest and official BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS). Gaming fans can enjoy the live stream starting with the final round of The Grind from August 17-20, followed by Round 1 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 streaming from August 31 onwards. The Grand Finals of the tournament will be streamed from October 12 to 14 on JioCinema. The matches will be streamed from 1 pm to 6 pm according to the schedule.
