James Anderson becomes oldest pacer to play a match in India

After missing the IND vs ENG 1st Test match, James Anderson has returned to the team to become the fifth oldest player to play a Test.

English veteran James Anderson has returned to the English side after missing the 1st Test against India. By featuring in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test, he has achieved a unique record of becoming the oldest pacer to play in India on Friday in Visakhapatnam.

Anderson is playing his 184th Test match at the age of 41 years and 187 days. Notably, the English pacer is just 9 wickets away from becoming the third bowler in history to take 700 wickets.

Oldest players to play Test in India
