The celebration among the LSG players was justified as they went on to register a hard-fought win against Delhi Capitals. With playoffs just a win away, the jubilant Lucknow Super Giants players were seen celebrating and singing along with one another.
LSG took to Twitter to post a video of their players celebrating the victory. They added the caption, “A #SweetSuperGiants victory deserves an equally sweeeeet BTS celebration 😍❤️ The squad is all smiles after climbing to #2 on the points table with a tremendous W over the Delhi Capitals.”
Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals were locked together in a titanic battle as each team wanted to better the other. LSG opened the innings and went on to register a high-scoring target of 196 for DC. Skipper KL Rahul went to score a wonderful knock of 77 as he crossed 400 runs in IPL 2022 in the process.

Riding high on the individual brilliance of KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda, LSG was confident of victory but it proved futile as Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh went on to score big for DC. Rovman Powell held the DC innings while Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav tried desperately to bring home the game at the last over the game.
DC ultimately fell short by 7 runs and therefore handed LSG their 7th victory of the campaign. The season has been quite difficult for Rishabh Pant-led DC. The Delhi outfits lost their 5th game of the season and lies 6th on the points table.
All in all, it had been a hard day at the office for LSG. And after attaining such a victory, the celebration among the proud LSG players showcases the bonding and the unity that the team possesses.
