“I just want to bowl at the right areas and good wickets and if I have to bowl above 155kph, God willing, I will do one day,” Umran Malik said after bagging his Man of the Match award against Gujarat Titans.

Indian Team for SA Series: SUPER IMPRESSED selectors all set to call up FASTEST Indian Umran Malik for South Africa & Ireland series

Umran is also set to be give the maiden call-up to the India team for the South Africa series. One of the selectors told InsideSport that they are excited by the talent of Umran and are closely monitoring his progress.

“How often do you get a bowler in India bowling at 150kph+ consistently? He is a rare talent and is definitely on our radar. Of course, his name is being considered for India so that he can be groomed,” a member of the selection committee told InsideSport earlier this week.
