Jonny Bairstow Shines for England

Bairstow went on to become the second-fastest English batter to score a 150-run-knock. The fiery batter reached the landmark in just 144 balls and continued his onslaught with Jamie Overton.
Following Bairstow’s dismissal, Stuart Broad went on to fire a quick 36-ball 42 to help England establish a 31-run lead.
In the second innings, Tom Latham and Kane Williamson stitched a 97-run knock for the Kiwis.
Post Tea, New Zealand had yet another collapse. They dropped from 125/1 to 161/5. The saving grace came in the form of rain, which brought an early end to proceedings.

They have added 102-run alliance for the sixth wicket, to lift their team from 123 for 5 at tea.
