At the end of Day 3 against Leicestershire, India posted 364/9 with Jadeja unbeaten on 56 and Mohammed Siraj not out on 1.
Instead of making the warm-up match a competitive game, India made it a batting practice session. Cheteshwar Pujara turned out for both sides to get some batting practice while Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja batted thrice in the match. Kohli, though, looked in good touch in the second innings scoring 67 off 98 balls including an upper-cut to Jasprit Bumrah for a 6.
“Captain Mr Rohit Sharma has tested positive for COVID-19 following a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on Saturday.
