Rohit Sharma breaks 9-year curse

Rohit Sharma has ended a 9-year drought, scoring back-to-back fifties in IPL 2025. After a slow start, Rohit has found his form, scoring 171 runs in three matches at an average of 171.00 and strike rate of 162.8. He hit a magnificent 76* against CSK and followed it up with another fifty against SRH. The SRH vs MI match had a bizarre moment when Ishan Kishan walked off after a ball from Deepak Chahar went down the leg side without any appeal from the MI team. The umpire gave him out, but UltraEdge confirmed there was no edge. Fans are now questioning the authenticity of the tournament, with some speculating that the match might be fixed. Kishan’s dismissal has sparked controversy, with many surprised he didn’t take a review. This incident comes amid Kishan’s poor form in IPL 2025, where he’s struggled to score runs consistently. Sanju Samson out of IPL 2025?

Rajasthan Royals’ captain Sanju Samson has picked up another injury, ruling him out of the upcoming match against RCB. He’s been one of RR’s top performers in IPL 2025, scoring 224 runs in 7 matches at an average of 37. However, his injury could keep him out for an extended period, potentially even the rest of the season. SRH are on the brink of elimination from IPL 2025 after a seven-wicket loss to MI. With just two wins in eight games, they have four points and a dismal net run-rate of -1.361. To qualify for the playoffs, SRH need to win all their remaining games and drastically improve their net run-rate. CSK CEO on Chennai’s struggles at IPL 2025

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are having a tough time in IPL 2025, managing just two wins in eight matches and sitting at the bottom of the points table. The team’s CEO, Kashi Viswanathan, didn’t mince words, admitting that they’re not playing good cricket right now. Despite the struggles, he believes MS Dhoni’s leadership will help them turn things around. With only six games left, it’s going to be a challenge for CSK to climb up the table.
