The social media star competed in his third match in WWE after his wins over The Mysterios and The Miz earlier this year. However, his recent bout for the Undisputed Universal Title proved him to be one of the worthy opponents for Roman Reigns.
Recently, he recalled his spectacular match at Crown Jewel on his IMPAULSIVE podcast. He said, “So, check it out, we just came back from Saudi Arabia, WWE Crown Jewel. I faced Roman Reigns, the face of WWE for the title, the Undisputed Universal Championship, and it was a hell of a match. It was a hell of a match. The guy’s tough. They [Paul’s podcast co-hosts] got dragged over the barrier. It’s because they handed me the phone that I filmed myself frog splashing Roman through the table and honestly bro, I’ll take that L on the chin because I don’t care. I don’t care because that video was f*cking awesome.” [H/T Ringside News]
At Crown Jewel, Logan Paul suffered a torn meniscus, MCL & potentially ACL injury. As reported, Maverick is expected to be in a rest period for 6 to 8 months. Nevertheless, he has already begun rehab for his injury.
