Riot Games the publisher behind famous first person shooter game, releases VALORANT Patch 11.00. The new patch brings significant updates to agents, maps, and competitive play.
VALORANT PATCH 11.00: Agent Changes
Several agents received notable changes. Waylay gets buffs to her Refract and Lightspeed abilities, making them faster and smoother to improve her engagement flow. Her Saturate ability now has a quicker windup and increased size to justify its cost.
Reyna’s Leer is now less tanky (HP decreased from 100 to 80), with added audio and visual feedback when hit. To allow for more counterplay, Neon’s Relay Bolt and Phoenix’s Curveball both have increased windup times (from 0.8s to 1.0s and 0.5s to 0.6s respectively).
Clarity and consistency improvements were made for several agents:
- Breach’s Aftershock visuals are quicker and less obstructive.
- Sova’s Recon Bolt and Owl Drone have improved audio cues for better tracking and awareness.
- Clove’s Pick-Me-Up visuals now clearly show when the speed boost is active.
- Killjoy’s Lockdown detain pulse delay is reduced.
- Cypher’s Spycam dart visuals are clearer.
- Omen’s Dark Cover no longer plays audio for opponents within 12.5 meters.
- Brimstone’s Sky Smoke now plays cast audio for allies within 12.5 meters.

The new map, Corrode, a medieval fortress with three lanes and two sites, is now available. To help players learn it, a Corrode Only Swiftplay queue will be active for 5 days.
In Competitive and Deathmatch, Bind and Corrode are in, while Pearl and Split are out. For the first two weeks of Competitive, RR losses on Corrode will be reduced by 50%, with wins still granting 100% RR.
Competitive rank resets have been adjusted, potentially leading to less rank drop after placements, and the maximum placement rank is now Ascendant 3.
Other Notable Updates
The Esports Hub is coming to Console, featuring VCT overviews, brackets for the International League Stage 2, and team/player information.
Premier also sees updates, introducing new Team Recognition awards like Team Tags, Plating, and the Champion’s Aura for playoff winners. Players can now report inappropriate Premier team names.
