However, this August timeline sets up a massive scheduling conflict for a couple of India’s biggest teams. iQOO Orangutan and GodLike Esports are currently locked in for their campaign at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 in Paris, where they will be representing the region in PMWC 2026.
Because EWC overlaps with the expected start of BGMS, there is a very high chance that both iQOO Orangutan and GodLike Esports might miss the earlier stages of the BGMI Masters Series 2026. It remains to be seen whether Nodwin will adjust the format to allow these heavyweights to join the competition later, or if they will have to sit out a significant chunk of the action.
