Ubisoft has officially announced that The Division Resurgence is coming to Steam. The free-to-play third-person shooter RPG is now available for players to add to their Steam wishlists.
Originally designed as a mobile-first title, the game successfully expanded to PC via Ubisoft Connect earlier this spring. Now, its upcoming arrival on Valve’s platform promises to bring the intense New York City experience to an even wider audience of PC gamers.
What to Expect in The Division Resurgence
Set in the iconic, post-pandemic streets of New York, The Division Resurgence offers a standalone story independent of previous entries. Players take on the role of Strategic Homeland Division agents tasked with restoring order.
The game features a shared open world filled with challenges. You can tackle missions solo or team up with three other players to protect civilians and take down hostile factions. Iconic PvPvE modes, including the fan-favorite Dark Zone and Conflict, are also fully integrated.

Deep Customization and Progression
The game brings a robust RPG experience to handheld and desktop devices. Players can enjoy extensive weapon and gear customization to suit their preferred playstyle. The flexible specialization system allows you to switch roles and gadgets at any moment to better serve your team’s needs.
Ubisoft also confirmed full cross-play and cross-progression support. Whether you start your journey on mobile or PC, your progress will seamlessly sync across all devices.
A Growing Roadmap
The developer has committed to a consistent content schedule for Year 1. Players can expect fresh updates every six weeks. These additions include new cosmetic sets, Classified Ops passes, and challenging Speed Run events. A major story expansion is also on the horizon to keep the narrative evolving.
While you wait for the full Steam release, the game is currently available for free download in Early Access via Ubisoft Connect, as well as on iOS and Android. Head over to the Steam store page today to wishlist the game and receive updates on its official launch date.
