Map Rotation: Enter Rondo

This year’s map rotation introduces a thrilling tactical layer, featuring a mix of classic battlegrounds and new-age arenas. Each matchday will push teams to their absolute limits across a grueling 6-match schedule:

  • Match 01: Rondo
  • Match 02: Erangel
  • Match 03: Erangel
  • Match 04: Erangel
  • Match 05: Miramar
  • Match 06: Miramar

The addition of Rondo as the opening match forces teams to adapt right out of the gate, followed by a dense triple-header on the iconic hills of Erangel, concluding with two high-stakes desert showdowns on Miramar.

Match Schedule & Tournament Stages

The tournament is structured into three distinct phases to filter the absolute best from the pack:

  • Group Stage (August 6 – August 9 | 12:00 UTC+0): The 32 teams are split into Group A (playing Aug 6–7) and Group B (playing Aug 8–9).
  • Survival Stage (August 11 – August 12 | 12:00 UTC+0): Teams that fail to qualify directly from the groups get one final lifeline over two intense days.
  • Grand Finals (August 14 – August 16 | 11:30 UTC+0): The ultimate three-day arena where the champion will be crowned.

Deciphering the Tournament Format & “Smash Rule”

Navigating the road to the grand stage requires more than just high kill counts; it requires navigating a ruthless format structure:

  1. Direct Qualification: The Top 5 teams from Group A and the Top 5 teams from Group B punch their tickets straight to the Grand Finals.
  2. The Survival Lifeline: Teams finishing between #6 and #13 in both groups drop down to the Survival Stage. Out of these 16 squads, only the Top 6 teams will advance to fill the remaining slots in the Grand Finals.
  3. The Grand Finals Smash Rule: The race to the championship concludes with a thrilling twist. At the end of Grand Finals Day 2, a Smash Point threshold will be established by taking the leading team’s total score and adding 10 points to it. On Day 3, the first team to reach or exceed this Smash Point and secure a “Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner” will instantly win the tournament.
