The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game lineups for the upcoming month of June 2026 have been officially announced by Sony. In addition to the release of Essential games for this month, users of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium are set to receive eight more games that range across different genres such as action, RPG, simulation, and rhythm.
What sets this month apart from previous months is that Sony is launching these games in installments during the month of June. This allows users to enjoy a consistent stream of new games throughout the month.
PlayStation Plus Extra Games for June 2026
The Extra tier receives seven new titles, headlined by a major RPG and several highly anticipated recent releases.
June 10: Sonic X Shadow Generations (PS5, PS4)
The newest Sonic game includes content taken from Sonic Generations, alongside a brand new campaign that follows Shadow the Hedgehog.
June 16: Final Fantasy XVI (PS5)
A major new RPG release from Square Enix becomes available via subscription, letting players explore the tale of Clive Rosfield in Valisthea.
June 23
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PS5, PS4)
- Life is Strange: Double Exposure (PS5)
Players can choose between medieval role-playing action in Kingdom Come: Deliverance or the mystery-driven storytelling of Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
June 30
- Farming Simulator 25 (PS5)
- Blades of Fire (PS5)
- Black Desert (PS5)
The final batch of June additions offers a mix of simulation, action, and massively multiplayer gameplay experiences.

June 16: Gitaroo Man (PS5, PS4)
Originally released during the time of the PlayStation 2, Gitaroo Man is still considered a cult classic because of its innovative game play and musical background.
Strong Sequel to May’s Lineup
June’s releases come on the heels of a very strong month of PlayStation Plus games. Among the releases in May were such notable titles as Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws, The Thaumaturge, and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.
While June’s lineup is smaller in size, it offers strong variety, ranging from blockbuster RPGs and narrative adventures to simulation games and retro classics.
