New rewards await in the second half. A new costume will be available for Gold rank players, and updated Crests of Honor will be awarded for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, and One Above All (Top 500) ranks. To earn these rewards, players must participate actively by completing at least 10 competitive matches in the current season.
Looking ahead, future seasons will follow a similar reset pattern. New seasons will begin with a six-division rank drop, while the second half of each season will feature a four-division drop. These values may be adjusted based on player feedback and performance.
NO RANK RESET IN MARVEL RIVALS SEASON 1: Second Half
After the release of Dev Talk 10 regarding the seasonal rank adjustment, developers received a wealth of feedback from the community. A common concern was the pressure associated with having a rank reset every half-season.
When the second half of the season begins, there will be no rank reset. Players will retain their ranks and scores from the end of the first half. To earn new rewards, players simply need to complete 10 matches in Competitive mode and meet the relevant conditions by the end of the season. Rewards will include a new Gold rank costume and a variety of Crests of Honor, featuring distinct designs for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, and One Above All.
