Riot Games will soon roll out another big update for League of Legends in Patch 26.10 that will bring new balance updates, improvements to Arena Mode, and changes to ranked matchmaking. After all the game-changing updates in Patch 26.9, it seems like Riot has turned its attention to perfecting the existing meta rather than doing another complete revamp.
League of Legends Patch 26.10 Focuses on Meta Balance
Several significant updates were introduced in League of Legends patch 26.9, including items, runes, and pacing changes. As much as the majority of gamers appreciated these updates, there are also overpowered and under-performing champions as well.
With patch 26.10 coming up soon, there will be a lot of buffs and nerfs to address the balance problem. Though the official details are not revealed yet, gamers are looking forward to significant buffs and nerfs for their favorite champs.
The objective of the patch is to make sure that the changing meta can be stabilized.
Arena Mode Receiving Big Overhaul
Another significant highlight of Patch 26.10 is the upcoming Arena Mode update that developers promise to bring to players soon. Allegedly, Riot Games has decided to implement a totally new six-team system with teams comprising of three people each.
Riot Games developers are sure that the new format will contribute to speeding up gameplay in Arena Mode. Previous Arena Mode versions were not liked by certain gamers who believed the gameplay was too slow.
The new update will hopefully add excitement to the gameplay experience.

Riot Continues to Improve Ranked Matchmaking
Moreover, Riot continues to keep an eye on the ranked matchmaking process, particularly for those Apex-ranked players after the recent MMR reset.
In their words, balancing the matchmaking system at a high level of skill still poses difficulties. The strictness of the matchmaking system can favor competition in a positive way, although it will mean longer queue times.
On the other hand, there are various other issues that can complicate the matchmaking process further.
