Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients
During the Free Weekend, players can try out the new challenge league, Runes of Aldur, explore major endgame updates and more, on PC, Steam, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store.
Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients introduces the Runes of Aldur league, where players can complete eight challenges in-game and earn a piece of the Knight of Aldur Armor Set, along with a totem decoration for their Hideout. These microtransactions are purely cosmetic and do not affect your character’s power in any way.

The expansion also introduces a reshaped endgame experience, powerful new Uniques, expanded crafting systems, and a completely reimagined Atlas Tree. Forge new paths with two new Ascendancy classes – the Martial Artist and Spirit Walker – and experience improved campaign replayability, a new Build Planner, and numerous quality-of-life features to support every step of your journey.
In addition to the in-game challenges, players can also earn the following Discord Quest avatar decoration by playing Path of Exile 2 for 15 minutes:

- Players can accept the Discord Quest from 29 May 10AM to June 5, 5PM PDT.
- To participate, select “Accept Quest” on the left hand side (Under Shop).
- On mobile, tap the Quest bar to navigate to the Quest tab and accept it there.
- To track progress, players must be logged into the Discord desktop app.
