With the official launch of Honor of Kings in India on March 11, 2024, the game has already made a significant impact on the mobile MOBA community. Currently, players are exploring new areas and trying out many different heroes. However, the biggest change coming to the game still isn’t released until a few months from now. Recently, Level Infinite confirmed that they will be adding another hero based on Indian culture to their roster by June 2026.
New Honor of Kings Indian Hero is Coming Soon
This upcoming character is not only an addition to the global character pool, as the developers at TiMi Studio Group have clearly indicated that they are developing this character with the intent of celebrating Indian culture and heritage. This is a part of a larger commitment that they have towards this region, which also includes a ₹100 million investment.
Although the character’s name and role, whether they will be a Tank, Assassin, or Mage, is unknown, the “Game Paltega” suggests a character that has the potential to turn the tide of a game.
The inclusion of regional characteristics in the character design and possibly even abilities is a level of localization that Indian gamers have been asking for a very long time

Release Timeline and Teasers
The roadmap shows that the actual launch of Honor of Kings Indian Hero will take place sometime in June 2026. This is strategic because it coincides with the end of the late phases of the KINGS’ Arise: India City Tour, where they have their largest events in Mumbai and Delhi, which ends in early April.
If the launch happens as the competitive scene ages, then players will find a new reason to play a new character with a new play style.
