Hitwicket Launches Squad Rush: A New 4-Player Mode Built For Team Strategy and Social Play in the game.

Squad Rush is anchored by the all-new 4 player team mode, the most ambitious expansion of Hitwicket’s cooperative gameplay yet. This mode builds on the existing Co-Operative format, allowing four friends to play together as a single squad, with each player facing five balls and the strike rotating between teammates.

Hitwicket Squad Rush Mode

All four players share a pool of wickets determined by squad strength and together work through 7 progressively harder milestones, each defined by a target number of runs off a set number of balls. The striker end controls shot selection (0, 1, 2, 4, 6) based on probability and activates special abilities, but every player in the squad, whether batting or waiting, can activate powerups at any time, keeping all four engaged and invested from the first ball to the last.

Unlike standard Co-Op where each of the 6 powerups can only be used once, Squad Rush introduces a defining twist: powerups are randomly assigned to each player rather than chosen, and are fully refilled after Milestone 5, giving squads a surge of new tools just as the challenge peaks.

The game ends either when all shared wickets are lost or when all 7 milestones are successfully cleared. A built-in voice chat feature ensures teammates can coordinate strategies in real time, adding a social layer that makes every session feel live, competitive, and deeply connected.

Players can create a private lobby and invite friends, or jump into a public lobby, making Squad Rush accessible to every player type, from tightly coordinated friend groups to spontaneous squad matchups.

Players can also interact with one another through a variety of pre-defined chat bubbles. Players also have the opportunity to meet new players through this mode, learn Hitwicket strategies from them, and try out special abilities and passives from other lineups that they may not have access to, themselves.
