The India-based, woman-led studio Wala Interactive just dropped a fresh look at their upcoming title, Spook-A-Boo.
This charming, top-down co-op adventure premiered a new gameplay trailer during the India Game Showcase at Summer Game Fest. It promises a “ghost-grabbing and friendship-smashing” experience for up to four players.
Spook-A-Boo: Saturday Morning Cartoon Vibes
Inspired by classics like Scooby-Doo and Ghostbusters, Spook-A-Boo delivers light-hearted, family-friendly chaos. Players work together to scan, detect, and trap mischievous spirits. The gameplay features physics-based puzzles and plenty of gadgets. Most importantly, it includes a dedicated button to kick items—guaranteeing plenty of laughs.
The game supports both couch and online co-op. Whether you are working together or accidentally sabotaging your friends, it promises to be a wild time.
