Epic Games has formally announced the arrival of their newest crossover, Fortnite x The Odyssey Collab, blending the world of films and the world of Fortnite. The big battle royale video game will collaborate with The Odyssey, which is an equally awaited film by Christopher Nolan, featuring famous characters based on the upcoming film.
This collaboration is expected to be released on July 17, 2026, when The Odyssey will be screened in America and Britain.
Fortnite x The Odyssey Collab: Unlock the Odysseus Skin for Free
Competitors will not have to wait until the item becomes available in the Item Shop; the company is allowing players who enjoy competing to unlock the outfit early by participating in Odyssey Cups, which will take place on July 15 and July 16, 2026.
There will be three tournament playlists for competitors to participate in:
- Solo Battle Royale
- Solo Zero Build
- Mobile Reload
Those who rank highest in their regions will get the cosmetics before it becomes available in the Item Shop.
Item Shop Release Date and Time
Players who don’t earn the outfit through the Odyssey Cups can purchase the cosmetics from the Fortnite Item Shop.

Although Epic Games has not officially announced pricing, collaboration skins typically cost around 1,500 V-Bucks, while complete bundles generally include additional cosmetics such as:

Wave One of the Crossover features two principal characters from the movie directed by Christopher Nolan:
- Odysseus (played by Matt Damon)
- Agamemnon (played by Benny Safdie)
On the other hand, according to credible leaks related to Fortnite from reliable Fortnite leakers, Penelope, played by Anne Hathaway, might join the game in one of the following updates. But still, Epic Games have not officially announced it.
