Finding the right partners was a large undertaking for the Esports Nations Cup 2026. They looked at over 630 applications from 150 different countries and territories. The partners that were finally chosen are old esports organizations and new organizations that are building the future of gaming.
Ralf Reichert is the CEO of the Esports Foundation. He said that this cup brings something that esports has never had before. It creates a global system for national teams which will be on a very large scale.

How the Teams Will Run
The national teams will run in different ways depending on the region. For example places like Korea and Saudi Arabia will use their established national esports federations. Countries like Brazil and the USA will use club led groups. Other places like Germany Canada and the UAE will use a mix of public and private groups.
In Malaysia Turkey and Thailand federations are working closely with local players. Emerging regions like Indonesia and Mongolia are also getting support to build their teams for the big stage.
Event Dates and Location
For the first time players will come together from these local areas to play for their country. This brings a new type of fan pride to the games. The Esports Nations Cup will officially debut in Riyadh. The tournament will start on November 2 and run until November 29 2026. Fans from all over the world are waiting to see which nation will take the top prize.
