Activision has officially confirmed the return of Campaign Early Access for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, giving players the opportunity to experience the game’s single-player story before the full release. The feature, which was previously available for Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, is making a comeback after being absent from recent entries in the franchise.
Those eligible for the promo will be able to enjoy the mission beginning from October 16, 2026, a week prior to the official release date of October 23, 2026.
How to Get Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Early Access
Here’s how you unlock early access: The player simply needs to pre-order any version of Modern Warfare 4 through the digital store. Early access to the campaign is available for both Standard and Vault editions when purchased digitally.
At present, pre-orders have been announced on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 will follow sometime in the future, according to the publisher.
Along with gaining early access to the campaign mode, all digital pre-orders also unlock the multiplayer beta in the near future.

Early access is not complicated at all. Gamers have to make an online pre-order of either version of Modern Warfare 4. Early access to the campaign for both versions is offered one week ahead of time, provided players purchase their editions from a digital platform.
In the new game campaign, players will find themselves witnessing an ever-growing struggle between North and South Korea that can lead to the destabilization of the whole planet. The action will be viewed from various angles.
