The 2026 Fortnite Global Championship moves to September 26 and 27 in Antwerp. FNCS Major 2 now begins on July 18. The Finals are set for August 1 and 2. The top 25 Duos will qualify for the Global Championship. FNCS Major 3 is now the Last Chance tournament starting August 3. This event decides the final 10 Duos for the big stage. A new standalone solos tournament arrives in October 2026.
Epic Games Introduces FNCS Global Power Rankings
Epic Games is launching a new global web leaderboard on June 5. This leaderboard will update every single week. Your ranking considers your 20 best tournament results. It also tracks your seasonal Ranked tier in both modes. You can easily follow friends and top players on this site.
Earn the Axe of Unreal
A new progressive reward, the Axe of Unreal, is coming next season. Reach Unreal in Ranked to unlock this exclusive cosmetic item. The axe upgrades its tier each season you reach Unreal. Battle Royale and Reload modes have their own unique axes.
Compete for Unreal Legends Status
Season 3 introduces the prestigious Unreal Legends tier for top players. You must accomplish three goals to earn this status. First, reach the Unreal Rank. Second, hold at least a 2,500 Skill Rating. Third, place in the Top 500 on the Unreal Leaderboard. Falling below these requirements means you lose the status.

Tournament eligibility now includes both your current and previous season’s Rank. This change rewards players for maintaining high performance. Season 3 brings more Zero Build tournaments for all players. PlayStation Cups and Ranked Cups will also continue throughout the season. Check the in-game Compete tab for more scheduling details.
