After the success of the Independence Day Cup, KONAMI is back with another major esports event for Indian eFootball™ fans. This time, the title is adding festive cheer to the competition with the eFootball™ Diwali Cup 2025. Featuring a ₹1,00,000 prize pool and exclusive rewards for the top performers. The tournament promises to be one of the biggest highlights of the season.
What makes this event even better is the timing. Diwali is not just about glimmer and celebrations; it is about winning, joy, and new beginnings. This event hopes to bring that same energy to the esports community, where competition meets festivities in the most exciting way.
eFootball™ Diwali Cup 2025: Registrations and Schedule
The registrations have opened on October 2, 2025, and the window will close on October 16. If players want to compete, they will need to register their accounts on the eFootball™ India Discord server, which will once again be the home for announcements, fixtures, matches and winner updates.
The action begins immediately after the registration portal closes, with matches taking place from October 16 – October 30. Players can expect a knockout-style event similar to previous eFootball™ tournaments, with only the best making it through each round.

eFootball™ Diwali Cup 2025: Prize Pool and Rewards
This Diwali will be special because of the festival as well as the impending rewards. The ₹1 lakh prize pool will be distributed amongst the top 4 participants, giving them a real incentive to play harder on the virtual pitch. However, these rewards go beyond cash.
Besides possibly bringing home cash, the winner and other top performers will also get the unique opportunity to meet celebrities and athletes like KL Rahul, Sunil Chhetri, Ahan Shetty, Focused Indian and Nitish Kumar Reddy in Mumbai this December, adding even more incentive to participate. For many, this opportunity will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that combines a gaming accomplishment and the attraction of an exclusive event.

Celebrating the Spirit of Diwali
Diwali represents light, happiness and victory, and KONAMI is hoping to reflect those values in this tournament. Like families celebrating the festival of light, the Diwali Cup will bring the community together in a celebration of gaming. The event will take place in a time when players will both love competing while enjoying the festive mood of the season.
The Independence Day Cup earlier this year set the stage for the season, bringing in enormous registrations and an action-packed finale. The Diwali Cup will continue that energy, giving players who did not participate in August another opportunity to shine on the pitch.
