The wait is almost over as the Free Fire World Cup aka, FFWC at the EWC26 begins on July 15, 2026. The world’s top 24 Free Fire teams will compete in Paris, France, for a share of the $1 million prize pool and the chance to lift the world championship trophy.
With several top international teams and three Indian representatives in action, fans can expect four days of intense battle royale competition.
FFWC at EWC 2026 Schedule
The tournament will take place from July 15 to July 18 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Matches will be played on the specially designed Qiddiya City Grid, built to host 20 battle royale squads at the same time.

- Grand Finals: July 18 | 4:00 PM IST

Tournament Format Explained
The tournament starts off with a total of 24 teams, which are then split up into two groups, each comprising 12 teams.
In the Group Stage, all the teams will fight for two days, and the teams that perform well among all of them will automatically qualify for the Grand Finals.
Those teams which do not make it to the finals will be given a second chance in the Survival Stage, which will take place on July 17. There will be only four teams qualifying from the survival stage.
The Grand Finals will involve 12 teams fighting for the World Title.

Indian Teams to Watch
There is sure to be a lot of support for India’s three teams participating in the championship:

However, all three of them will encounter tough competition from the most formidable Free Fire teams across the world.
One of the fiercest competitors is EVOS Esports, the reigning EWC 2025 champions, who will be looking to defend their title.

The prize pool for the Free Fire tournament is $1,000,000 USD.
