The second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to go underway on February 23 with WPL 2024 Opening Ceremony in Bengaluru. The biggest women’s cricket league in the world is expected to open with a bang. The 2nd edition will go big with Shah Rukh Khan highlighting the show. The glamourous opening ceremony begins at 6:30 PM.

After confirming Karthik Aryan as one of the celebrities who’ll perform at the opening ceremony on February 19, the WPL announced Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff as the next superstars to join the list on February 20.
Then, on February 21, Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor joined the already-illustrious Bollywood trio. However, the biggest news broke when they announced that Shahrukh Khan will headline the opening ceremony at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Bringing the big stars of Bollywood was possible by TCM Platform. The company is not new to hosting such mega events. They have been successfully conducting IPL Opening and Closing ceremonies. Renowned choreographer Shiamak Davar will be at the helm of orchestrating stunning set of performances. It will serve as a tribute to the teams gearing up to compete in the league.
