Stars from the B-Town are all set to welcome a brand new season of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. While the full range of stars are yet to be finalised, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is all set to set the stage on fire in the opening ceremony of WPL.
The second edition of the WPL is scheduled to begin on 23rd February, with the final to be played on March 13th. There will be a grand opening ceremony on February 23rd evening. The first match of the Women’s Premier League will be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is going to grace the stage of the opening ceremony of WPL this time. The board has announced on social media that Kartik Aaryan will perform at the Women’s Premier League opening ceremony this year.
At 7:30 p.m., the second WPL edition kickoff match will take place. Just one hour prior to that, the opening ceremony will take place. It’s unclear at this time if any celebrities other than Karthik will walk the red carpet at the WPL opening ceremony.
In 2023, the Women’s Premier League was unveiled. The tournament’s grand opening ceremony was held last year as well. Bollywood performers Kiara Advani and Kriti Shannon’s dance tracks enthralled the crowd at the DY Patil Stadium. Aside from them, AP Dhillon, a well-known singer, entertained the spectators in the gallery.
