Ruturaj Gaikwad & Rachin Ravindra Unleash Carnage
CSK’s opening batters Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra gave the Yellow a brilliant start. It was the Kiwi youngster who gave his side a blistering start. Rachin blasted his way to score a scintillating knock of 46 runs. After setting the pace for the team, Ruturaj Gaikwad too went on to switch gears. Like Rachin, Ruturaj too missed on his fifty after being dismissed on 46.
Shivam Dube Seals Spot In ICC T20 World Cup Squad
Shivam Dube has all but sealed his spot in the ICC T20 World Cup Squad. Team India badly needs a batting all-rounder and Dube is a perfect fit in India’s team. The destructive southpaw blasted his way to slam 2 fours and 5 sixes to register the second fastest fifty in IPL 2024.
Dube’s blistering knock will surely be appreciated and looked by Rahul Dravid and the BCCI Selection Committee. His blistering form in IPL will be enough to secure a spot for the Men in Blue in USA.
Sameer Rizvi Shines On His Batting Debut
While Dube, Rachin and Ruturaj has hogged the limelight, but Sameer Rizvi too was brilliant. The 20-year-old batter wasted no time lighting up the Chennai sky. Rizvi played in the previous game against RCB, but didn’t get a chance to bat.
However, now that he got a chance to bat, Rizvi announced himself at the big stage. He blasted of 14 runs in just 6 balls, His blistering innings consisted of 2 sixes, slamming hard with a strike rate of 234.
