New Star on Rise! Rachin Ravindra becomes CSK fan favourite after blistering knock in CSK vs GT clash

CSK vs GT: Rachin Ravindra lights up Chennai sky, becomes new fan favourite after stupendous 46-run knock

A new star on the rise. Rachin Ravindra continues to impress for Chennai Super Kings. After his exploits against RCB in the opening game, he unleashed his carnage yet again in Chepauk. This time against Gujarat Titans, he hammered a quick firing 46-run knock to light up the Chennai sky.

Rachin Ravindra opened the innings for CSK with skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad. But the Kiwi sensation took charge and switched gears from the very first delivery. He went on to hammer 6 fours and 3 sixes to bat at a strike rate of 230. But Rachin eventually missed his fifty after being dismissed on 46.

Rachin Ravindra shot to limelight after his exploits in the ODI World Cup. And he continues to hold his purple patch in the country. In the previous game against RCB he hammered a 37-run knock from 15 balls. Come the second game, he was even batter.

And most importantly, CSK didn’t have to spend a huge amount on the player. The 5-time Champs roped in the Kiwi star during the IPL 2024 Auction for a mere price of 1.8 crores. And given his batting prowess, Rachin is destined for greatness and will likely achieve sky high laurels for the Yellow Army.
