Another terror crisis has struck the ICC T20 World Cup. Ahead of the start of the tournament, a Pro ISIS group has sent out a blood chilling message for the India vs Pakistan clash. Security now will be greatly enhanced in New York after the group posted a picture, with serious hints on ensuring bloodshed during the game.
India vs Pakistan is slated to take place at the Nassau Stadium in New York on 9th June, 2024. An ominous picture was posted by a pro ISIS group claiming “You wait for matches and we wait for you.”
Pro ISIS group threatens IND vs PAK Clash
The poster makes direct reference to the India vs Pakistan clash which will be held in New York. The entire cricketing world gears up for an epic clash between the rival nations. But the security concerns too have to be greatly enhanced.
The poster showed drones flying in the air along with a stick of dynamite. On the other hand, the date of the game and the stadium name was also mentioned. The picture also showed a back silhouette of a sniper with a blood chilling message of “You wait for matches and we wait for you.”
It is expected that now the security for the match and around the stadium will be further tightly knit. The Nassau Stadium which has been recently constructed will host 8 matches. Previously the ICC claimed that they are dealing efficiently about ISIS threats for the T20 World Cup.
