SL vs NEP: Sri Lanka all but bow out of T20 World Cup as rain plays spoilsport

Wanindu Hasaranga's side have lost two games out of two and a defeat against Nepal will ring their death knell in the T20 World Cup.

Misfiring Sri Lanka will take on Nepal at the Central Broward Regional Park in Florida on Wednesday. Both teams are yet to register a victory in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 and will look to get their campaign on track with a win. Sri Lanka have looked hapless in the tournament so far, losing to Bangladesh and South Africa so far. A loss in the SL vs NEP will send Wanindu Hasaranga and his men packing.

Meanwhile, Nepal lost their only game against Netherlands in the T20 World Cup. The Nepalese side still have a good chance to qualify for the Super Eight stage provided they win their remaining matches.
